Modern Cape
PROJECT START: sPRING 2016
Our first deep energy retro fit was in 2016 in the beach area of Fairfield, CT. While most homes were being knocked down and built new, a decision was made to work with the existing structure to make it great again. We opened up the first floor and dedicated a large area for the kitchen and family room, preserved the existing sun porch, and still found room for a dining nook and full bathroom. The second floor has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths all with built-in furniture and storage.
This house is powered by a mini-split heat pump which gives you heat, air conditioning, and a very small electric bill.
